Biography
Raised in beautiful Santa Barbara, California, I spent most of my weekends backpacking and hiking in the Santa Ynez mountains and playing trumpet, sometimes at the same time—I was a bugler in Boy Scouts. I decided to stay in my hometown for college and received my B.A. in Liberal Studies from Westmont College. I went on to do a brief stint as a Kindergarten and 1st grade teacher, where I reaffirmed my passion for education and helping others. I decided to pivot into college admissions to continue this pursuit and moved to Colorado, where I found Western a perfect fit for what I love most: the outdoors! I enjoy 70’s music, singing in the car, reading, and getting caught in the rain. Above all, I thoroughly enjoy answering questions about Western and helping students find their perfect college!
Fun Facts:
- I’m a musical enthusiast and have seen Les Misérables live over 10 times.
- I hiked Mount Whitney only for it to be foggy when I reached the top.
- My favorite book is One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest
