Mission Statement
The West Elk Wranglers is a social club with the mission to keep the western dancing heritage alive. We strive to give students the opportunity to experience western culture in the form of dancing. The club members have the opportunity to learn the different styles of swing dancing, line dancing, and square dancing from different regions of the United States, and participate in hosted events throughout the year. The club meets every week to teach dances on Thursdays from 7 pm – 8 pm. Visit our Microsoft Teams chat and join the group or reach out to a club officer to be updated with current events and involvements throughout the school year. We are part of a larger international group called the Westerners International. The West Elk Wranglers was the first college chapter to join the Westerners International on April 26, 2012.
