The program begins at 7:30 p.m. and is open to the public.
The program will open with G. F. Handel’s “Overture to Rinaldo.” Following the Handel, the orchestra will perform outstanding arrangements and an original composition by composer Mathew Naughtin. His works being performed will include the famous “Largo” from Antonin Dvorak’s “New World Symphony,” an original work by Mr. Naughtin titled “Habanera” that features Robert Barrett, DMA (clarinet), Western student Jo Raetzel (cello) and Western collaborative pianist Alicia Belgiovane (piano). The program will conclude with four selections from various acts of George Bizet’s opera “Carmen.”
