Registration Information

Suspension and Appeals

Students who are placed on academic suspension are contacted by the Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs soon after grades are posted for the term. Students who wish to appeal the suspension must fill out the required Application to Appeal form available via electronic submission. Complete academic suspension and appeals policies may be found in the University Catalog.

Appeal Dates

  • December 12, 2024 at 3:30 p.m.
    • Students may appeal to return for the spring 2025 semester
  • January 9, 2025 at 9:00 a.m.
    • Only for students who were suspended based on their fall 2024 grades, appealing to return for the spring 2025 semester
  • April 10, 2025 at 3:30 p.m.
    • Students may appeal to return for the summer or fall 2025 semesters
  • May 29, 2025 at 9:00 a.m.
    • Students may appeal to return for the summer or fall 2025 semesters
  • July 24, 2025 at 9:00 a.m.
    • Students may appeal to return for the fall 2025 semester
  • August 19, 2025 at 1:00 p.m
    • Only for students who were suspended based on their summer 2025 grades, appealing to return for the fall 2025 semester

The deadline for submission of documents is 5 p.m., two business days prior to the appeal date, for all dates except August 19 for which the deadline will be 5 p.m. August 18.

Appointments will be scheduled by the Office of the Registrar.
