Our Campus Tour & Info Session is the perfect way to get a taste of life at Western. This is our most popular tour, welcoming anyone looking to learn about Western! Choose a morning or afternoon session on most weekdays, with some Saturday options for added flexibility. It starts with a quick intro to Mountaineer life, followed by a guided tour of campus to see firsthand what makes Western such a special place.

P.S. Love skiing or snowboarding? We offer a limited number of discounted passes to Mt. Crested butte (only 30 minutes from campus) upon request! Reach out to our Admissions team, and we’ll help you pair your campus tour with a skiing adventure on the slopes nearby.

Basecamp Western is a full-day visit designed to be the ultimate exploration experience for prospective students and their guests. Dive deep into everything Western has to offer—from our vibrant campus and welcoming community to the stunning Gunnison Valley. This comprehensive on-campus event is perfect for anyone looking to truly experience life as a Mountaineer.

We’ll be hosting Basecamp on February 21st and April 4th, so mark your calendars! Registration opens December 16. Secure your spot early and get ready for an unforgettable day!
