Biography
I grew up in Denver and I have also lived in California and graduated from California State University, Fullerton. After graduating from university, I went to Georgia (the country) as a Peace Corps Volunteer. I taught English and lived in small village named Vaka for 2 years during my time in Peace Corps. After Peace Corps, I worked as a college counselor at a private high school in Tbilisi for 3 years helping students apply to universities in the US and Europe. That experience led me to Western when I was moving back to the US in July 2022. I currently serve the Colorado counties of Baca, Bent, Cheyenne, Crowley, Custer, El Paso, Elbert, Fremont, Huerfano, Kiowa, Kit Carson, Las Animas, Lincoln, Otero, Prowers, Pueblo, and Teller.
Fun Facts:
- I am fluent in 3 languages: English, Farsi, Georgian
- I was on Masterchef Georgia even though I have zero culinary skills
- I can sing every lyric to every 2Pac song
