Biography

I was raised in the mountains of Colorado (Crested Butte and Colorado Springs) and then went on to live in England, Massachusetts, Ohio, and Spain. I earned degrees in Economics and Environmental Studies from Kenyon College in Ohio and loved being at a small school in a small community. I was a four-year member of the Men’s Soccer program there as well! For the three years after graduating I worked as an Assistant Director of Admissions in Boston for a high school study abroad program that sent American students to experience Italy, France, Spain, and China. Last year I lived and taught English to K-5 students in Madrid, Spain, before I finally decided that I missed the Gunnison Valley too much and moved back home. I believe strongly that this is one of the best places in the world and I can’t wait to help STEM students enroll at Western!
