Biography

I grew up in Denton, Texas and absolutely knew that I wanted to move to Colorado for undergrad early in high school. I fell in love with Western immediately, and little did I know that attending school here would lead me to do so much. I learned how to rock climb, how to white-water raft, adopted my two dogs with my husband (who I met during undergrad here!), and went on to earn two Masters degrees in Creative Writing through Western as well! It felt like coming back home when I got to join the Admissions team. I can’t wait to help students find their home at Western like I got to! I currently serve the Southwest region of Colorado.

Fun Facts:

  1. My husband and I have two huskies, Finn and Sky!
  2. I have a passion for writing, usually fiction or poetry.
  3. I hadn’t tried raspberries until college!
