In the Studio Art program, you’ll be exposed to various mediums, becoming well-versed in drawing, painting, photography, printmaking, ceramics, sculpture, and jewelry. Paired with a Bachelor of Arts in Art, you’ll have the opportunity to immerse yourself in a comprehensive liberal arts curriculum while engaging with the widest selection of artistic practices. The Studio Art program is ideal if you wish to pursue interdisciplinary art media, commercial artistry, exhibition curation, or a community arts organizer.

Studio Art Requirements

A major emphasis dives deeper into a specific interest within your major. It allows you to focus on a particular area of study, replacing the need for a separate minor. By tailoring your coursework, a major emphasis equips you with specialized knowledge and skills to better prepare you for career opportunities or advanced studies in your chosen field.
