Biography

How did you discover Western?
A Western Representative visited my high school and talked about the outdoors. I was then invited to a Borick Scholars Weekend and fell in love with campus and the Gunnison Valley that weekend. I have been here for 10 years because of Western and do not see myself leaving anytime soon!

What most excites you about your field?
I am excited to learn more within my field because I have always been curious about the inner workings of a university as well as a nonprofit. The education sector is new to me, but extremely fascinating.

What is your favorite thing about the Gunnison Valley?
My favorite thing about the Valley is the unencumbered access we have to all activities right in our backyards. I am a big outdoorsman and we have some of the best public lands in the state. I love to being able to get to raft, bike, hunt, fish, backpack, hike, and snowboard all within a short drive.
