Biography

Growing up in Northern Illinois, I spent my summers canoeing and backpacking in the lakes and woods of the Midwest. This fueled my pursuit for adventure that eventually led me to the state with unparalleled adventure- Colorado! I obtained my degree from the University of Colorado Boulder and decided to stay in this colorful state post-graduation. Camping trips and sitting around the campfire led to a love of storytelling, which was why I pursued a degree in communications. I’m now happy to combine all of my passions through my work by having a chance to tell the story of Western Colorado University and its students!

Fun Facts:

  1. My longest backpacking trip was 30 days in the Wind River Range of Wyoming.
  2. I played club lacrosse in college and love coaching.
  3. I’ve hiked ten different 14ers (and counting!)
