Kevin Geisen

Kevin Geisen serves as the Director of Campus Recreation at Western Colorado University, providing leadership for Mountain Sports, Club Sports, the Mountaineer Field House, and Wilderness Pursuits. A Western alumnus, Kevin competed on the Trail Running and Nordic Ski Teams and represented Western and Team USA at the Winter World University Games in Almaty, Kazakhstan, and Krasnoyarsk, Russia.

Kevin joined the Campus Recreation team professionally in 2021 as Assistant Director of Campus Recreation for Mountain Sports after serving as head coach of the Nordic Ski Team beginning in 2020. He continues to support Mountain Sports programming and serves as an assistant coach for the Nordic Ski Team, with a focus on fostering student development, leadership, and community through recreation and outdoor experiences.

Beyond Western, Kevin serves as Vice President of Sport for the U.S. Collegiate Ski and Snowboard Association (USCSA), helping advance collegiate snowsports across the Nordic, Alpine, Freeski, and Snowboard disciplines.
