Biography

How did you discover Western?

My husband landed a role in Western Athletics October of 2023, therefore we moved from Texas to start a new adventure.

What are some of the highlights of your career?

I have had many different career paths including being a Business & Marketing teacher and Head Track & Field coach at a very large high school in Texas. I started the DECA program at Conroe High School and cherish the relationships I built with all my students. Prior to teaching I worked in College Athletics doing event management and marketing at Sam Houston State University and Texas A&M University. Additionally in my athletic marketing realm, I was on the team that introduced and planned the first ever Final Four Friday for March Madness.

What excites you most about your field?

The ability to help students from all walks find their path and help guide them for their future.

What is your favorite thing about the Gunnison Valley?

Exploring all the many activities whether it be Snowshoeing or Paddle Boarding. Living in the Gunnison Valley is vastly different than Southeast Texas.
