Kari Commerford MA

Biography

Kari holds a master’s degree in clinical psychology and has held the position of Lecturer of Psychology at Western Colorado University since 2006. Kari is the co-director for the MBS Rural Community Health program and has recently led efforts to increase the clinical components of the MBS program which has resulted in multiple certificate programs. Kari has been a leader in prevention education in the community and around the state of Colorado, presenting for several organizations and conferences on topics such as adolescent development, neurobiological development, trusted adults and youth substance prevention and prevention strategies in rural areas.
