Biography

How did you discover Western?

Western was only one of a few campuses in the nation that offered a degree in the field in which I was working and teaching. After visiting the Gunnison Valley for the first time, I knew I wanted to make Western my home.

What are some of the highlights of your career?

Watching the students succeed and excel in their field after graduation. Traveling the world learning and speaking about energy development. Meeting amazing people along the way.

What most excites you about your field?

The ever-changing nature of the energy and oil and gas industries, always learning something new, and being challenged to think outside the box.

What is your favorite thing about the Gunnison Valley?

The mountains and the rivers.
