Brody Smith

Biography

My name is Brody Smith, and I am a Business Administration major at Western Colorado University and a member of the men’s lacrosse team. I play attack and have been involved with lacrosse for several years. The sport has given me the opportunity to compete, travel, and build friendships with teammates who have become some of my closest friends.

My favorite part about being on the lacrosse team is the people. The team is competitive when we’re on the field, but it’s also a great group of guys to spend time with outside of practices and games. Some of my best memories in college have come from road trips, team events, and everyday moments with teammates.

One of the things I appreciate most about Western is its location. The Gunnison Valley offers access to so many outdoor activities that I enjoy. When I’m not in class or at practice, you’ll usually find me fishing, hiking, skiing, working out, or exploring somewhere in the mountains. Having all of those opportunities right outside my door has been one of the best parts of my college experience.

Being a part of the lacrosse team has made my time at Western even more rewarding, and I’m grateful for the friendships and experiences that have come with it.
