Biography
How did you discover Western?
My husband is an alumnus and has always wanted to return. He ran on the cross country team as well as getting a dual degree in History and Exercise Science. When an opportunity arose to come back, we took it and have not looked back.
What are some of the highlights of your career?
I have worked in many places, but always the same field—clinical exercise physiology. My highlight would be developing the Wellness Elevated program here at Western!
What most excites you about your field?
I love having a front-row seat, watching as people make amazing transformations with positive health behaviors every semester. Teaching students to navigate the tricky areas of behavior change ensures that this type of beneficial programming will continue into the future, long after I leave Western.
What is your favorite thing about the Gunnison Valley?
Our community is so active and vibrant. There really is something for everybody!
