The Counseling Center, located on campus in Crystal Hall room 104, provides on-site counseling services during the academic year. The Center for Mental Health is located at 710 N. Taylor St. in Gunnison.

Sources of Strength is a national project that empowers peer leaders and caring adults to work together to prevent suicide, bullying, and substance abuse. Western’s Sources of Strength chapter meets every other Thursday from 5:30-7 p.m. in the University Boardroom. The next meeting will be on Nov. 7.
