The Western Colorado University Foundation will host the inaugural Mountaineer Award for Excellence, honoring Professor Duane Vandenbusche, Ed.D., on Saturday, April 27 in the Denver area.
The event, which will take place at Cherry Hills Country Club at 5 p.m., was created to honor Western’s outstanding philanthropists, alumni and friends, while also serving as a signature event for Front Range alumni and community members.
Speakers include Western President Greg Salsbury, Ph.D., and Western Foundation Executive Director Tom Burggraf.
This year, the Foundation’s Board Develop Committee chose to honor Vandenbusche.
