RVU is one of two medical schools in the state, the other being University of Colorado.
Under the Early Acceptance Program, Western juniors will be able to apply for provisional acceptance to RVU—without needing to take the MCAT.
Applications are due Nov. 1, after which Western designees will conduct a preliminary round of interviews. Their suggested candidates are then sent to RVU for final decisions.

Once accepted, students will be assigned an RVU student mentor and will visit campus, sitting in on classes and taking a study skills assessment. They also have the option of participating in RVU medical service trips—among other community service opportunities.
