Biography

Max moved to Gunnison, CO from his home state of Vermont in 2015 to attend Western’s undergraduate program. After graduating with a B.A. in Business Administration, Max worked as an Executive Administrator in Crested Butte for three years before coming back down valley to work at Western; starting his new role as Human Resources Generalist in 2024. With a passion for helping others and prior employee relation experience, Max is truly here for the staff and faculty. Always learning about the latest and greatest labor laws and changing policies to better serve those around him. In his free time, Max enjoys sailing on the Blue Mesa or working towards his private pilot certification. He can often be found biking, camping and backcountry skiing in the nearby mountains or training for triathlons around town.
