The Sport Management Certificate is a fully-online, stackable 15-credit certificate that includes four upper-division RESS courses. The curriculum provides you with targeted instruction in foundational areas of sport management such as event and program planning, facility and risk management and sport marketing and serves as a valuable degree enhancement for students in any ESS pathway, as well as any student who has an interest in pursuing a career in the sport industry.

Sport Management Requirements

A certificate is a shorter program focusing on a specific field of expertise rather than an entire course of study. It does not result in a degree, but it can be completed alongside your major or as a stand-alone credential. Certificates are a great way to enhance your knowledge, strengthen your resume, and gain practical experience in a particular field.
