Biography
How did you discover Western?
I was a student athlete at Western 2006-2011. I had a great experience! I loved the university, the town and surrounding area. I also fell in love with the people. I met my now wife Emily McMahill during my time at Western. After we graduated, we left Gunnison to attend Southern Illinois University Edwardsville to further our education. We enjoyed our time in the Midwest but we knew we wanted to make it back to Gunnison and Western.
What are some of the highlights of your career?
Really so far the biggest highlight of my career is the opportunity to teach sport psychology at Western. Studying sport psychology at Western was a life changing experience for me . Without the outstanding faculty and coaches , I wouldn’t have been able to achieve the things I did during my career. It is truly an amazing opportunity to share knowledge and experiences with students and hopefully equip them with tools and strategies to help them perform at their highest levels within their performance realms and in life.
