The Human Resources office supports the Western Colorado University mission by providing the campus community with professional consulting, guidance and service in all employment-related matters.

The Human Resources department is dedicated to education and communication, so employees are aware of our many opportunities, programs and services.
Our Values
Communication: We strive to listen first, then to be clear, practical, logical and concise in our communication. We believe proactive communication fosters trust and collegial working relationships.
Employee Relations: We work to be the first resource for employee work-life issues. We believe in two-way communication to solve workplace problems fairly, early on and at the lowest level that is practical in the institutional structure. We support a culture that celebrates employee success.
Programs & Services: We aim to provide quality services and programs in the most effective form, with easily accessible information to both anticipate and meet the needs of our employees.
Consulting: We remain well informed on topics affecting employees and the administration of human resources in order to provide innovative ideas for services, policies and strategies.
