Welcome to Western!

We’re excited to have you join our community of Mountaineers. Spring Orientation is designed to support your transition to Western by providing essential information, helpful resources, and meaningful connections. Through a combination of in-person events and an online course, you’ll gain the tools you need to start your academic journey with confidence and success.

What to Expect

Over the course of orientation, you’ll:

Meet with your EPIC

You’ll get a chance to meet with your EPIC Mentor- your peer mentor who is here to help guide you through your transition to Western.

Move Into Your Dorm

If you are living on campus, you may begin moving into your assigned residence hall the morning of Spring Orientation.

Start Making Friends

An optional social will be held after orientation to meet current students and other new students participating in Spring Orientation.
