If you’ve completed college coursework after graduating high school, you’re eligible to apply as a transfer student. We’re here to support you every step of the way and make your transition to Western as smooth as possible.

Steps to Becoming a Student

 

Collect Materials & Apply
Thinking about transferring to Western? Here’s your first step: When you apply, make sure to request official transcripts from your previous school. If you’ve completed fewer than 24 credit hours, we’ll also need your high school transcripts. Simple as that!

Credit Evaluation
After you apply and we receive your transcripts, our Registration & Advising team will review your credits to see how they transfer. Once the evaluation is complete, we’ll let you know how many credits will count toward your degree at Western!

Recommended Application Deadlines

Western is on a rolling admissions cycle. We accept applications throughout the year until our class is full. However, we recommend students apply before the following dates to be as prepared as possible for the upcoming academic year.
