How It Works – Outdoor Industry MBA 3+2
Students apply to Western as traditional undergraduate students and choose the Business Administration, Recreation & Outdoor Education, or Environmental Science major. For the first three years, students take courses to fulfill their bachelor’s degree while completing the requirements needed to apply to the MBA program.
If they’re accepted to the MBA, students in their fourth year take a combination of undergraduate courses and online graduate courses. At the end of that year, they earn their B.A. and are considered fully admitted to the MBA.
During their fifth and final year, students finish their graduate-level coursework anywhere in the world and complete a final capstone project in partnership with a company in the outdoor industry.
