View business through a legal lens.

In the Property and Contract law program, you’ll gain a foundational knowledge of business law and business ethics, coupled with a more advanced understanding of topics such as the basic rules of contract formation, real property law, legal descriptions, recording statutes, public records systems, and rights associated with property ownership. Students pursuing the certificate will take lower divisions courses that cover essential concepts in business law and ethics as well as an upper division course that focuses specifically on property and contracts and their practical applications.

Program graduates will possess the necessary knowledge and skills to navigate complex legal issues related to property and contracts as well as analyze legal documents and advise business related matters.

Property and Contract Law Requirements

Certificate

A certificate is a shorter program focusing on a specific field of expertise rather than an entire course of study. It does not result in a degree, but it can be completed alongside your major or as a stand-alone credential. Certificates are a great way to enhance your knowledge, strengthen your resume, and gain practical experience in a particular field.
