Western’s Outdoor Industry minor can be coupled with any bachelor’s degree to help you earn a specialized business skillset to launch your career in a multitude of industries. With a focus on outdoor marketing and branding, corporate sustainability, organizational leadership and more, this 18-credit minor will help you enhance your general business skillset as well as view course concepts through an outdoor business lens. Through providing both lecture-based coursework and practical learning opportunities, the minor ensures you’ll not only understand course material, but also be able to apply your knowledge to real-world scenarios.

Outdoor Industry Business Requirements
