WCU Program: Environmental Law

Environmental Law

Legally protect the environment

The Environmental Law Certificate program will help you learn about the legal aspects of environmental regulation and protection. The program provides you with a foundational knowledge of environmental law and policy, coupled with a more advanced understanding of topics such as water resource management, pollution control, and other areas of environmental law. In this certificate program, you’ll take lower division courses that cover essential concepts in law and policy, including the legal frameworks and ethical considerations involved. The upper division requirement will then focus specifically on environmental law and its practical applications.

Certificate

A certificate is a shorter program focusing on a specific field of expertise rather than an entire course of study. It does not result in a degree, but it can be completed alongside your major or as a stand-alone credential. Certificates are a great way to enhance your knowledge, strengthen your resume, and gain practical experience in a particular field.
