The Energy Law certificate is designed to help you lay the groundwork for a strong understanding of legal aspects of energy and resource development. The program provides you with a foundational knowledge of business law and business ethics, coupled with a more advanced understanding of topics in energy development.

Upon completion of the Energy Law certificate program, you’ll possess the necessary knowledge and skills to navigate complex legal issues related to energy development and be able to analyze regulatory structures and draft legal documents in energy-related matters. This program is ideal if you want to pursue or further your career in law, business, or energy in government, communities, or within the private sector, where knowledge of energy law is crucial.

Energy Law Requirements

A certificate is a shorter program focusing on a specific field of expertise rather than an entire course of study. It does not result in a degree, but it can be completed alongside your major or as a stand-alone credential. Certificates are a great way to enhance your knowledge, strengthen your resume, and gain practical experience in a particular field.
