Biography

Taylor (Cull) Worsham serves as Assistant Director and Librarian for the Upper San Juan Library District in Pagosa Springs, Colorado. After earning her degree in Politics & Government – Global Studies from Western, she discovered her passion for public librarianship and went on to earn her Master of Library Science from Emporia State University while working full-time for Gunnison County Libraries.

Early in her career, Taylor played an important role in the successful campaign to pass a mill levy and open Gunnison’s new state-of-the-art library, while also expanding community programming and outreach. She later served as the first Outreach Services Librarian for Paso Robles City Library in California, where she launched a bookmobile program to bring library services directly to residents and led innovative initiatives such as the state’s first “Lunch at the Mobile Library” summer series.

Now back in Colorado, Taylor continues her commitment to community-centered library service as she helps guide the expansion and renovation of the Pagosa Springs public library. Through her leadership, creativity, and dedication to access and lifelong learning, Taylor is helping ensure libraries remain vibrant community spaces where people can connect, learn, and thrive
