Biography

Nakeesha Seneb writes as Ines Johnson. Ines is a former screenwriter with over two decades of experience working across radio, film, and television; she worked for both the National Geographic Television and the Black Family Channel/Robert Townsend Productions. Since transitioning to genre fiction writing in 2014, she has written and independently published over 100 novels. She stopped counting in 2018 because…math. She has shared her deep understanding of craft, marketing, and the publishing process with thousands of students through conference presentations and platforms like Teachable. She writes books where damsels cause the distress, princesses wield swords, and moms save the world.
