Biography

Melina first discovered Western during her senior year of high school while exploring college options. After visiting, she was drawn in by the campus and strong sense of community. What she appreciates most about the Gunnison Valley is how people show up for one another, whether at an art opening, a musical, a film screening, or a concert. That kind of support is what makes the area feel like home.
