Mandy relocated to Gunnison, Colorado in the fall of 2024 and joined Western Colorado University’s Education Department as the Coordinator for Educator Preparation soon after. She brings a diverse background in education and athletics, having previously served as the Athletics Business Manager at Black Hills State University for two years, and as a high school science teacher in New Orleans for three years. As a graduate of the University of Vermont with a bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training, Mandy discovered her passion lies in supporting students, athletes, and future educators. Outside of her role at Western, she enjoys making the most of Colorado’s outdoors—snowboarding, hiking, camping, and exploring—with her fiancé and their dog.
