Biography

What year in school are you and when do you plan to graduate?

I am a junior planning to graduate in 2027 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in photography with my minor in film.

How did you discover Western?

I met the school at a conference where later I was offered scholarships to the art department cementing my choice to come here.

What are some of the highlights of your time at Western?

I love the campus, easy walks to class, and all the studio spaces areas are super friendly. I have been able to display artwork in galleries, magazines, and art shows across the Gunnison valley. I have also been working on campus as a student photographer for media and marketing, which helps me refine my skills.

What excites you about your major?

The studio spaces are incredibly resourceful, having all I need to work on my art. The professor provides very insightful critique, and the major provides many opportunities for working on it outside of the campus.

What is your favorite thing about the Gunnison Valley?

The recreation nearby campus is incredible to explore from Hartman rocks to the Black Canyon.  I am exploring more every season.
