Biography

Being a Colorado native, the mountains have a special place in my heart. When looking for universities, Western stood out and I immediately fell in love. Attending Western for my Bachelor’s degrees was the best decision. Between the small class sizes, the small mountain town, the tight knit community, and the beautiful Gunnison Valley; Gunnison has become home. I love exploring the valley with my dogs whether it’s hiking, camping, or anything outdoors. Western and the Gunnison Valley have given me so much, I am excited to be on the Admissions team where I can give back to the Western community. My goal is to help students find their home at Western, just like I did. As a first-generation student navigating college was intimidating, my goal is to help students navigate their college journey with confidence.
