Biography
How did you discover Western?
A colleague in the Colorado dietetics community recruited me to teach at Western. It has been a joy and an honor to join the Western team!
What are some of the highlights of your career?
I feel fortunate to have experienced many highlights in my career. Among these include caring for patients on the highest form of life support at the Johns Hopkins Hospital. This experience, particularly during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, was extremely challenging, albeit rewarding. Aside from my clinical experience, my career in higher education has brought many highlights. Notably, the invitation to teach Medical Nutrition Therapy at Western! Inspiring and educating future healthcare professionals provides a daily reminder of why I pursed this profession.
