Amiy Yadav MS

Biography

Amiy joined the Mechanical Engineering Department faculty in 2025. His areas of specialization include the design and production of mechanical and electromechanical products, with particular proficiency in mechanical testing and human factor testing. He has a strong passion for designing and testing effective, human-centered products, with a focus on the automation of electromechanical processes.

Amiy has mentored students as an Adjunct in Biomedical Engineering senior design capstone programs, supporting the design and fabrication of successful prototypes. He has also served as a Program Assistant for the Mechanical Engineering department, guiding students through the prototyping, fabrication, and testing of numerous senior design projects.

In addition to his teaching experience, Amiy worked as a Support Engineer at CU Boulder’s Idea Forge, where he assisted in the metrology lab with GD&T and mechanical testing for student projects. Before joining CU Boulder, he was an Assistant Manager at Maruti Suzuki Pvt Ltd, an automobile company, where he worked on robot communication and programming, and jig/fixture modifications in the Weld Engineering Plant.
