Amelia Lukassen

Biography

Amelia Lukassen grew up in Gunnison, where she always knew Western Colorado University was a great school with an even better community. When it came time to choose where to go to college, staying in the beautiful Gunnison Valley felt like the natural choice.

During her time at Western, Amelia embraced challenges that pushed her to grow, learning the value of perseverance and trying new things. One of her proudest moments was receiving the Alumni Award for Excellence during her graduating semester, an honor that reflected her dedication and achievements.

In her current role, Amelia is most excited about helping students financially achieve their dream of going to college. Having once left the Gunnison Valley and returned, she now has a renewed appreciation for its beauty and never takes the outdoors for granted.
