The Visit Experience
Campus Tours & Info Sessions
Our Campus Tour & Info Sessions are the perfect way to get a taste of life at Western. As our most popular tour, this visit welcomes anyone looking to learn more about our experience and what we offer. We offer morning and afternoon sessions on most weekdays, along with some Saturday options for added flexibility. The session starts with a quick intro to Mountaineer life, followed by a guided tour of campus to see firsthand what makes us so special.
Meet a Professor
Want to learn more about a specific program? You can connect with a faculty member at any Campus Tour & Info Session. Let us know beforehand, and we’ll arrange a meeting with a professor to give you all the details and answer any questions you may have.
Ski the Resort
Do you love skiing or snowboarding? Crested Butte Mountain Resort is only 40 minutes away from campus and features some of the most fun terrain in the country. We offer a limited number of discounted tickets upon request!
Reach out to our Admissions Team, and we’ll help you pair your campus tour with a skiing adventure on the slopes nearby.
Basecamp Western: Open House
Basecamp Western is a full-day visit designed to be the ultimate exploration experience for prospective students and their guests. Dive deep into everything Western has to offer—from our vibrant campus and welcoming community to the stunning Gunnison Valley. This comprehensive on-campus event is perfect for anyone looking to truly experience life as a Mountaineer.
