Residence Life & Housing

Creating an inclusive, supportive, and fun environment for all students.

At Western, we prioritize creating a safe and welcoming living environment for all residents. Living on campus is essential to the Mountaineer experience and contributes to students building community and a strong connection to the University. To ensure students find involvement and have a positive journey at Western, we enforce a two-year on-campus living requirement for all first-year students. With traditional dorms, on-campus apartments, and well-rounded dining options, we provide a seamless living experience that supports students in excelling academically and engaging fully in campus life.
