The CASFA allows eligible students not eligible for federal aid to apply for state and institutional financial assistance. It also allows for Undocumented, ASSET, or DACA Students.

Determine Eligibility
CASFA is designed for undocumented Colorado residents, ASSET-eligible students, and DACA students. ASSET students may qualify for in-state tuition and state financial aid, while DACA students are not eligible for federal or state aid but may receive institutional aid.

Complete and submit the CASFA
Complete the application and submit it as soon as possible after October 1
Undocumented and DACA students:
Even if you’re undocumented, you can apply for COF by completing the affidavit for students without lawful immigration status.
Submit Additional Documentation
After acceptance to Western, contact the Financial Aid Office to complete the ASSET application and provide any required documentation.
