Transfer Credit Appeals

You may submit a transfer credit appeal if:

• A course you completed was not accepted for transfer credit.
• You believe a transferred course should fulfill a general education, major, or minor requirement.
• You disagree with the level or type of credit that was awarded.

Complete the Initial Transfer Credit Appeal Form.

Note: You must provide supporting documentation, including the course title, course description, and syllabus from the term you completed the course.

• Appeals are typically reviewed within 2–4 weeks.
• The review committee will consult with relevant academic advisors and department chairs.
• You will receive a written decision via your student email account.
• Should your appeal be denied, your communication will provide additional information on submitting a second-level appeal to Academic Affairs.
