Department Scholarships

Western’s ADC scholarships are uniquely designed to support adult learners who are returning to college to complete a degree they previously started. These scholarships recognize the financial and personal challenges many adult students face and provide targeted funding and guidance to make finishing a degree more accessible, flexible, and achievable.

Eligibility

Enrolled in ADC with a minimum of 6 credits per semester
Minimum of 2.75 GPA or higher
Must participate in ADC advising sessions each semester

Description

Awards up to $1500 per academic year
Qualification of scholarship determined upon entry to the ADC program and reviewed on a regular basis
Preference for award is given to out-of-state students
Renewable based on qualifications and availability

Eligibility

In-state Colorado residence
Qualify to receive $1 or more of Federal PELL grant OR have SAI of up to 13,999
Enrolled in ADC with a minimum of 6 credits per semester
Must participate in ADC advising sessions each semester

Description

Based out of Tucson, AZ, Earn to Learn (ETL) is leading a wave of funding innovations in higher education by offering postsecondary matched saving scholarship programs. In short, ETL helps qualified students save $500 per year for their schooling and then, with the help of Western funding, matches that investment 8:1, turning the amount into $4500
Scholarship applications accepted in the spring of the year
Renewable based on qualifications and availability

In-state Colorado residence
Minimum of 2.0 GPA or higher
Enrolled in ADC with a minimum of 6 credits per semester
Must participate in ADC advising sessions each semester

Description
