Biography

How did you discover Western?
As a high school student doing cross-country mountain bike races, Western would often have a tent set up at the finish and start line. Wanting to continue racing mountain bikes and recreating in college, I inquired about Western here and immediately knew it would be a perfect fit for school.

What are some of the highlights of your career?
At BLISTER, helping create six Winter Buyer’s Guides, assisting the facilitation of five Blister Summit events, and contributing hundreds of gear review articles.

What most excites you about your field?
Remembering how excited I was to participate in campus recreation as a student and wanting to pass on that experience.

What is your favorite thing about the Gunnison Valley?
The access to world-class outdoor recreation.
