The Escalante Complex includes Colorado, Crystal, Dolores, and Tomichi halls, offering the ultimate dorm-living experience for your first year at Western. Located at the highest point on campus, you’ll enjoy stunning 360-degree views of the Sawatch, West Elk, and San Juan mountain ranges right from your window. The Rady Family Sports Complex is just across the street, placing you in the center of the action for all home NCAA football games, soccer matches, and track meets. Additionally, the Signal Peak trail system is easily accessible from the residence halls, allowing you to walk, run, or mountain bike right from campus.
The Escalante Complex is a traditional dorm-style residence hall. The coed space offers community-style living for approximately 320 students. Two students share one room. Each floor has four shared restrooms, featuring men’s, women’s, and gender-inclusive restrooms. Each floor also has a lounge with a television and a study area.
