Professional Training in Music Production

Renovated in 2016, Quigley Hall houses a professional recording studio with a control room and three sound-isolated tracking rooms designed for solo artists and full bands. Students in music technology courses receive the training needed to serve as project engineers for local musicians, earning recording credits and even compensation for their work. Quigley Records also operates concert livestreams for Western’s Music Program, offering additional opportunities through Work Study positions as broadcast technicians. Together, these experiences prepare students for careers in audio engineering, music production, and media while providing valuable services to the community.
