How It Works – Graduate Certificate in Energy Geoscience
Students apply to Western’s School of Graduate Studies. Application materials must include:
- Official undergraduate transcript.
- A resume
- A one-page personal statement outlining student goals and experiences.
The Graduate Certificate in Energy Geoscience program is offered in an asynchronous, online format delivered during fall and spring academic semesters and is designed to be completed in one year but may be completed in up to 5 years of initial enrollment. The program begins in late August of Fall Year One with a one-week field trip – Introduction to Energy Resources – 1 credit hour. The remaining classes are online and occur in the following sequence:
