Caith Norton

Biography

Caith Norton is coming full circle! As a ’92 graduate of Western, she returns to campus as the new Director of Campus Recreation. A longtime resident of the Gunnison Valley, Caith has spent the past 37 years immersed in the outdoors and deeply connected to the local community. She brings with her a passion for health and wellness and a strong commitment to helping others lead active, balanced lives. In the early 2000s, Caith served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Nepal, an experience that further deepened her dedication to well-being and service. After returning to the States, she became a licensed massage therapist and spent 16 years as the owner and operator of Ananda Massage in Crested Butte. More recently, she was the Global Wellness Operations Manager at Eleven Experience, a high-end travel adventure company based in Crested Butte. When not working, you can find Caith on her mountain bike, in her garden, swimming in remote wild locations, cooking up something yummy and healthy in the kitchen, or on a yoga mat.
